I'm sorry to report, this will be my last post on the board. I'm moving to Texas in the morning and thought I'd say thanks to everyone on this board that has helped me become a better fisherman. My last trip to Putah was 2 weeks ago. I landed a really nice 22" bow on my backup 4wt. As luck would have no camera in the truck, but it will surely be a lasting memory. The next day I fished the American and hooked into the only fish I've have never been able to subdue. I fought the fish the well over two hours before it spooled me in a run down toward the bridge and finally wrapped around one of the pilings. I have truly enjoyed sharing tips and ideas with everyone here. Hope to see some of you back soon. I've got a membership at the resort and will be making yearly journies to Putah. Putah is the very first spot where I learned to flyfish and will forever be grateful to all who have helped. Thank you ALL.
So glad to have your input here. Please check in with us from time to time. Let us know about the flyfishing in Texas. Good Luck in all your endeavors. God Bless
