I thought this rod was a couple years older. I found the paperwork while packing boxes in preparation for the move to Michigan.
It has been my go to rod from Eagle lake, Pit, Lower Sac, Feather, Yuba, Putah, etc etc. I've never owned a really fast tapered rod and this one is far from it. I just like them slow I guess. Never a complaint after almost 25 years.
