Flies for PCT fundraiser
Permalink

To All,

We are trying to put together a box of flies for the PCT fundraiser on July 10th. The idea is to tie 3 of your favourite Yuba fly and send them in to me. I will put them in a box and get them to Steve for the auction. The best looking flies in the collection will win a bottle of wine (judged by me). I know it is short notice but it is only a few flies and it is to support PCT. I will kick it off and tie 3 patterns ( At least we will have 9 flies that way!!)

If you are interested add the fly that you will tie in a reply to this post as well as a PM to me. From there I will get back to you with my address and we can go from there.

Cheers,

Alastair.

1) Alastair - Golden Stone (Nymph)
2) Alastair - Hogan's S&M Olive
3) Alastair - BHPT
4) Otter - Crazy Style S&M
5) Otter - Orange marbles !!
6) Cole - Skwala
7) Cole - March Brown

I am glad you are not in the contest Alastair!! Three flies sound easy enough I will tie up some crazy version of the S and M that usually works and maybe throw in something else. How about some beads? They seem to work every so often??? I have a few orange marbles that resemble salmon eggs...

I am not as much a Yuba guy as some of you but I have to tie a set so count me in.  I will do some Skwalas and march browns I guess.  The third fly I will surprise you with...

Hey don't know if I confused every one with my origional post but if you would like you need only tie one pattern, just 3 of them!! but hey if youre up for 3 patterns i.e. 9 flies I am sure PCT will appreciate it.

I know there are a few more tiers out there...... come on...... someones got to jump on some caddis poopahs or the like??? A couple more patterns and we'll have a really nice box of flies!!
