It's been a while since I posted because it has been a while since I've had the opportunity to get up to Putah from San Jose. I went up last week for a few days. Did not have much luck but tied into a Putah hog in the 20 inch range I fought for a while. At first it seemed small and was coming along but it got nasty and started fighting then broke me off. I could see it flash just before it broke off. Fun while it lasted. I was using a Copper John dropped off an Elk Hair Caddis with a 5X tippet.
It was fun getting back to Putah, I need more of this.
