I received a thirdhand report of trout poaching on the Creek. The incident occurred near Deer Sign within the last week. It involved at least two fishermen seen walking to their white pickup truck carrying a stringer of large fish. Unfortunately the observer did not get plate numbers or report it to Caltip.

As you return to the Creek fishing this spring please be on the lookout for illegal activity. And please report it to Caltip even if it's hours later. As always, wardens are covering a lot of territory and are seldom on the Creek. If you make a report to CalTip increasing incident numbers will more likely trigger a response by CDFW wardens.
