I've got a couple dozen gopro videos bass fishing out of the kayak on a local lake. I get sidetracked into watching them now and then while doing other things on the computer. It is a very enjoyable time killer. I haven't watched the above video I posted in months, thank you for the inspiration, it was a fun tease. I have hundreds of photos of Putah over the last 40 years but that was my one and only video. Memories are certainly lost as we age.

Honest question: you plan on harassing a fellow angler on Putah because they have a gopro? Verbally get in their face? Tromp through their water? Throw rocks in their run? Vandalize their car? Physically assault them? Really??? Do it while being videotaped no less???

In Michigan any of the above would be a ticket or worse. Mike Tyson lost six fights. Travon Martin lost one that I know of. I'd dissolve a lifelong friendship with anybody that did what you describe.

Perhaps an inebriated post, I don't know. 2020 has had enough issues, no need to go out with a bang or carry over into 2021 at a personal level. Enjoy the holidays as best you can and have an awesome new year.

tight lines

I was thinking flamethrower, but perhaps that's a bit extreme.

Stop using this site to intimidate or somehow threaten other fishermen that may break something you dont find acceptable you dont own the creek. If you care about the creek show up on clean up day ,God knows we could use the help

Give it a rest, Richard. Nobody is gonna break anything. Frankly, guides have no business even responding to this. You can guess the reason why.

I've first fished Putah in 1963. I used to own the creek. Nobody but me and a couple of others who wandered up there from time to time. There were some ugly fish in the creek back then, good fighting but some strange mutants from the department of fish and game. Since it became Wild and Senic I have gone fewer and fewer times per year. There are few places on the creek without a lot of fishermen. I like to take my time and just fish hard. I don't try to bother anyone and will usually move a good distance around someone to leave them alone and fish a little further down. I have no problem with anyone using a go pro. I don't but I enjoy some of the postings using the camera. If they don't bother you, then I don't see any issue. From this post I'd like to suggest that there are anger management and stress reduction classes. I used to take an occassional sick day from work to fish and relieve stress. I can't believe a day out on the river can be so negative. Time to adjust priorities.

Don’t check here too often anymore as I hit the creek less with its growing popularity but I have to wonder what’s worse.

An grown man, keyboard tough guy, complaining about how someone fishes or that this was posted during the voluntary closure leading me to believe you were fishing during the spawn.

Get your priorities in order
