the water is over 10,000cfs, and RISING! Upper Putah is flowing into the lake at 10,500cfs and the glory hole is covered by at least three feet of water. The pictures give you an idea of what it looks like. This in MUCH more water than in 2017. I feel sorry for any critters who couldn’t swim or fly.
Took a bunch of pictures myself today. A lot of water over the backroads from Woodland and eventually did a U-turn. Shot down through Davis and hit Covell which was a mess too. Road through Winters and up to the dam is in good shaped. A lot of erosion along the road in the canyon- be careful and for slides.
Hope this is ok, but I posted a few pictures on my Facebook page:
Hope so, I am wondering if that much water destroys eggs/redds or alevin and has a bad effect on this years spawn? Maybe someone who knows more than i do can chime in?
