Looking at the water level for Lake Berryessa and as of 08:00 this morning it is within six inches of overflowing.With the heavy rains predicted for today it sure looks as if we are going to see the Glory Hole kick in and another big surge coming down the creek.

How do the new fry handle the burst in flow?

and the creek water level at it’s monitoring station has gone from 6 feet to nearly 16 feet!

Sounds more like they opened the valves than spilling over the glory hole.

The water level of Lake Berryessa is nearly 4 feet higher than the rim of the Glory Hole so I think that water is all overflow from the lake.

Glory Hole at about 11:00 AM Thursday morning.
