if anyone is interested im selling my orvis clearwater 12’ 8 weight.  bought it new for 350, am asking 175 but would consider a trade.  Cork handles are aged from use but not damaged, its in great shape otherwise.  orvis calls it a switch but its really more of a short spey rod rather than a long switch rod.  The rod has a lot of backbone, i hooked chinook on it while working in alaska last summer and it was plenty strong.  its pretty overgunned for any steelhead under 6-8 lbs which is why im selling it after buying the same rod in a 6 weight.  Great rod for big water and big fish, just not good for the trinity or gualala. pm me if interested, thanks
