Richard, you shouldn't have any problems getting there via 505. They are going to stop traffic Westbound at some point but the fires are well west of Putah.  I just got back from Yountville via Napa.  Trancas to 121 is a no go due to the Atlas peak fire so you will have to take 12 to 80 and up.  Traffic really wasn't that bad.

128 restrictions are above Calistoga.

Take a mask to breath. I'm sure there will be all kinds of particles in the air.

The fire was terrifying in my hometown of kenwood. Had to evacuate at 1 am last night when we woke up to flames.
Believe that's a different fire altogether as there are multiple ones in Sonoma and napa cos.
