I floated Bonnyview to Anderson yesterday in my pontoon. It was a BEAUTIFUL warm day. Caught ~ 10 16-18" HARD fighting rainbows. Half on #6 brown rubber legs and the other half on #16 Dark Lords. I trailed a micro may all day without apparent interest... Size 16 tan mayflies were in the air mid day. A few caddis came off but not many.
Duane's shuttle service out of The Fly Shop was easy and seamless.
Put in at the "raft" launch under the bridge to avoid annoying the drift boats/guides....
Had some success walk wading... Fished the ledges where the trout were holding in the green/deeper water right after a drop off - they took the Dark Lords here:
They seemed to like the chunky rubber legs in the slower drifts:
I love when they take the rubber legs... They almost never come off!!!
I'm WIPED OUT today though after waking up at 5am, packing everything out and then in, rowing, finning, wading, swimming after a broken kick fin buckle, casting and catching! I wish I could do this trip more often... Too bad it's 2+ hours away...

Im interested in an overnight float with my kayak but vehicle shuttle proles to be problematic. I didn't know The Fly Shop offered a service, will have to look into that.

Contact Duane Milleman (530) 515-2272
You can either call him in the morning and give him your car info, put in and take out spots and where you will hide your key and the payment OR simply drop in to The Fly Shop and fill out the form and leave a spare key and the payment. They are professionals. I've used the service twice now and it has worked out perfectly
