Fish the edges or relocate to different spots. Spots change as the river flows go up. There are places to fish with higher flows. You just gotta walk the river.

Saw a guy with a scoped rifle firing at birds and squirrels above the island at 5 today. He was camped out with his girl friend and a couple of dogs. Tent, raft, the works. I really don't want to pass judgement or be harsh. 🍸

This is all illegal activity and the shooting is obviously dangerous and authorities want to be informed when you come across this kind of activity. There are two things you can do.

 

Call Cal tip or  Solano County Park (530-795-2990) and the Rangers there will deal with it immediately. They have jurisdiction at access 5. DFW response time will depend on having a warden in the area or if someone has to travel from another area. But they will respond as soon as they can.

 

You can also call Yolo County Sheriff or Solano County Sheriff, if it's an issue on their side of the Creek. I have their numbers in my contact list on my phone
