Looks like I picked the wrong day to skip out of work in the AM for a little fishing. Holy Cow did they shut off the water. I could tell as soon as I saw the creek. Water must have dropped over a foot in the last day. Still fished and hand some success. Just got off the creek and checked the flows - down to 40CFS.
It's normal for the flows to be cut down during the 2nd. 3rd or 4th week of October. It happens every year. Putah's flows are determined by downstream irrigation needs so the date when the flows are cut can vary quite a bit. And just because the flow are in the 40's this week doesn't mean that they won't raise the flows to 100+ CFS next week.
