Hi - fished Putah yesterday at no4with client. Large amounts of debriefing were being washed down with large plumes of mud that didn' clear for 15 min or more. Notified dfg and they are investgating. If you see anyone bulldozing or dumping it is illegal. Please take photos and notify Cal Tip immediately. We need to protect this valuable resource.
I have seen this happen many times. I believe it was caused by the flows increasing while you were there. Check the flow chart. A lot of the vegetation will settle on the edges and blow down when the flows increase like they did.
