Was out for a few hours this morning at the Island.  Fished from about 10 to 1.  Went through about 4 different flies.  Skunked.  Ran into another guy who was also out for about the same amount of time, but earlier in the day.  He was also skunked at the Island, fishing at the split (above?).  Seems slow.  Water has definitely come down, its around 350 or so, at least you can now wade to get across, without feeling the "slip" benath your boots!  Thinking of heading to the Island again Saturday morning.

I was probably the the one that was skunked above the island at access 5 this morning. I packed it up and headed up to the bridge. Glad I did!!! A caddis hatch was comming off so I swung a pair of soft hackles and stuck 6, landed 2. One 16' and the other 22". Beautiful fish. We are back in buisness!!!

Fished for about two hours on Thursday. Flows were about 450. Fished the last riffle below the bridge before the flat water. Landed 2 nice fish 12"-14" and lost a putah pig. Wrapped me up on 20lb. mono. Got a nice kastmaster in return.

The two fish landed hit a zebra midge and the one that got away I think hit the tan caddis pupa.

Fishing should be awesome this weekend before the big rains.
