I fished by the bridge for four hours today. Hooked 6 and landed two, both at least 20". One of the fish that I hooked but didn't land looked even bigger. All of my strikes were in the various riffles right under the bridge. A bead head Flashback Copper John size 16 with a gray thread midge nymph size 22 dropper was the best set-up.
Strangely enough, all of my strikes and fish came within a 45 minute window around noon. I guess the fish eat lunch like us land dwellers.
I had to sacrifice my phone to appease the fishing gods (stupid water damage), but it was well worth it.

Go to guns fishing and more. They have a waterproof phone pouch that is clear and you can attach it to your waders. Touch screen still works through the plastic and you can take pictures through it. Water proof, and if you drop it its attached to a bungie cord.
Also thanks for the report I'll be heading up there tommorrow, havent been to putah in months, have had steelhead on the brain (and line).
I like my Lifeproof case. It is waterproof and rugged. The advantage is that you can pretty much use all of the buttons and screen directly and the photos are MUCH better than shooting through a bag.
