Truckee River this Friday anyone?

I have never fished the Truckee River...too intimidated by many tales of very smart fish and frequent skunkings!...I think its time to pop that cherry and give it a try. 

Planning to leave the East Bay 5:30am ish and fish till its dark or hypothermia sets in.  Whichever comes first.

Anyone want to come with?  I'll drive, you show me your secret spots!

Fished at the Hirschdale exit for 5 hours yesterday....let's just say there was a bad smell in the car the whole way home.
