Nice fish...just got back myself....If anybody is planning an Aug trip over there, they'd best be thinking stillwaters or the rivers. Creeks will be shot. They are near perfect now. W Walker looked GREAT yesterday as I drove back over 108. Virtually no snow at 10,000 feet.
Thanks guys. stlhdr nailed it. Flows are almost perfect now, but super low for this time of year. I hadn't been up since early April and while the snow is mostly gone, the flows look like mid-summer. The bugs don't seem to know the season started early - attractor and generic patterns worked best. This guy ate a bird's nest.
