I really wish I could make this event but unfortunately wont be able to. I was also unable to go to any of the cleanups either. Are there more gatherings scheduled for the future?

Thats a Dave McCants presentation fly based on an April Vokey pattern. You can pick up a half dozen framed for display for a cool $75 at the event. If you don't know April, her picture is above

If you can't make the March 16 event, you can still get in on the raffles by buying tickets on our website, using the "Donate" button. FYI, this is a state licensed raffle for non profit PCT, so if you don't win anything you will have donated to the cause.

Tickets are 5 for $20 and 12 for $40. We will label your tickets with your name and as "online" so we can contact winners and arrange to get the items to you.

All: We hope you will be attending the Spring Social and Fundraiser on March 16 at Canyon Creek Resort. We have 20 fly tyers to demonstrate their skills and a casting lawn to learn or practice your distance and accuracy. We have lots of great auction, raffle, and sales items for all kinds of outdoor enthusiasts, not just for Fly Fishers. But we also need help with event set up, collecting for raffle tickets and handing out silent bidding forms, and for providing some assistance to the CCR staff with parking. Finally we need help with taking down tables at 4 PM to help CCR prepare for their Saturday St. Patrick's Day Dinner.

Last Reminder that the Fly Tying and Casting Welcome Spring event is this Saturday March 16. Forget the lawn and the gardening, follow up the little league game with a treat for the kids. This is for the whole family to enjoy, so please join us!

Sorry to say that I will be missing the event again as rugby duties have me at st Marys all day. James sure does nice work,I actually made a portable fly tying bench as well years ago,I made it out of a bed in breakfast tray I then glued a bunch of components on it.It actually works great but really looks ugly. Hope all goes well.
