Me and my buddy clayton went up to the creek yesterday and today. Yesterday I had hooked and landed an 18 and 12", nut i had hooked a couple of bruisers. 3 fish that were 21, 25, and I'm not sure exactly how big but it ranged from 27-29"!!! Biggest fish I've ever hooked on putah. My buddy hooked one about 20" Good day for only 2 hours of fishing, we weren't sure how big they all exactly were so they were just guestamations.

     Today we had alot better luck. Clayton landed one at about 18-19", a nice fat female. Then i had hooked one that ran upstream and snapped me off, didn't even get a look at it. After a while of fishing I landed fat 24" pig that almost took me into my backing. A couple of cast later I landed the biggest fish i've ever landed on putah it was a 27" hog!! I had landed another hog a couple of casts later at 24". Alot of big fish being caught lately and alot of people fishing right on the beds. Whats up with that, people need to leave the spawning fish alone and let them spawn.

  All fish were caught on a pheasant tail flashback, and an egg pattern dropper, colors red and pink, and a black wooley bugger.
