I am a new member to this sight and have enjoyed reading your postings. I'm sure your advise will help me this weekend on the putah. I just moved back to San Mateo after living/fishing the last 12yrs in Oregon. I am going to miss it very much (the fishing is superb), but look forward to exploring new water in CA. If anyone needs or would like a competent fishing partner just let me know. It is always nice to share the gas, stories and beer.
Anyways, my question is: How many of you use streamers/wooly buggers on the putah? Do they work? They should- just looking for some input as this is my favorite type of fishing. Huge takes just get my blood going like nothing else!!!!!

I was going to fish the yuba and putah today and tomorrow, but changed my mine after seeing the doppler. I'm bummed about it, but it will be nice to fish with someone (you) on friday. Looking forward to it!
