Camping near the creek
Permalink

Hello all, I hoped to get up to the creek this weekend but I don't want to make the drive twice. Any suggestions on a place to camp Saturday night? I have only fished the creek once before and I only remember an RV park by the bridge. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just need a place to crash after a long day on the water.

The RV park is for members only, You should be able to camp down at Lake Solano( just a mile or so below access #5.) Make a right on Pleasant Valley Road. Than a right after you cross over the creek. Your there. Good Luck have fun fishing.

Looks like you can camp for two nights for $20 at the RV park near the bridge. I've read that the campground isn't very good (limited running water), so...

There are a few sites close to the road that require county permit as well. I suggest Lake Solano though. It should be quiet there this time of year.

Thanks guys, I will check out the campground. I appreciate all the info on the site, I am new to fly fishing and have found the info on this forum invaluable. I will post a report upon my return

Resort camping sites are limited and members get first choice at use. However, this time of year they may be available.

i have been wet wading all summer and my new waders didn't arrive in the mail until 4:30 Saturday afternoon. I will put up some camping info next week when I head up there...I have to watch the Bears game today, a man has to have priorities.
