I may be heading up to the McCloud for this next weekend with a group from Fly Fishers of Davis. I've seen photots and it looks beautiful! I've tied a few October caddis pupas size 10 and have some big stimulators in my box. Any other tips or recent reports? Thanks...

Although the McCloud is famous for its rattler, I wouldn't be too concerned with this this time of year. Probably still a few lurking around but with the cooler evenings and mornings most are probably getting ready for hibernation mode.
