Finally got out this weekend. We have a claim between Goodyear bar and Downieville with a couple of nice pools, the fish are not large but will rise to a caddis in the afternoon. We found some nice gold in the morning.

Thanks James, great pics.  Haven't made it to our place in Nevada City this summer so may hit it in the fall.  Always a great time throwing dries up there.

Having never panned for gold before, what is roughly the dollar amount of the gold in the picture?

Cole, the water is about a foot lower than it was this time last year, hoping to find some  browns coming up from Bullards Bar. The gold in the photo was a little over two grams, $120.00.
