Me and rgloft hit the creek today in lieu of a longer drive. Weren't feeling fishing truckee or yuba in the heat. 

Irrigation/rafting flows? Tough wading? Perhaps. Sluggish fish...not so much. We did alright, better than we expected. 3 fish to hand for Rich and one for me, plus five or six more hookups. Nothing huge but all our fish were around 14". Not a terrible day.

Tips. Don't go too far downstream. Black, olive, gray. Mayflies, midges, up your sizes a wee bit from normal. Long leaders, lots of shot. Finish your dead-drift and fish the swing...

Nice fish! Did you complete an Angler Survey? DFG needs the data if you want to continue to see wild fish in the net!
