Was on the creek Thanksgiving Day Morning early. Got a few strikes but nothing hooked. Was using an egg, with a 4D40 as the dropper. The problem was around 7:30ish it was so crowded that it was like salmon fishing. No edicate what so ever from a few folks. Oh well thought there might be less crowds since it was Turkey Day. Nice to just be in the water.

Yeah I was there also, started @7am and the first three areas I wanted to fish were already taken but thats pretty typical of turkey day morn.Myself and a freind fished for about 4 hours and took about a fish an hour landed, and lost a handful. All the fish were on nymphs no dry fly activity whatsoever. Most of the fish were averaging 10 to 14" lost one really big big fish that I thought was a rock that I had snagged untill it rose from the bottom and shook the hook free.Good to get out and burn a few hours before stuffing myself with stuffing.
