The fish frenzy party is over... Flows on the Lower Stan are up to 1300 cfs. 250 to 1300 in less than a week. The fish are probably now spread out all the way down to Oakdale. It was fun for three months though.
I know the Lower Stan is no big secret but thanks for cluing me and rich in to it Otter.
Had an epic day when we went up there. I had 13 fish to hand and at least another 6 or 7 that spit me. Plus one big break off on the take.
And I didnt have to fool with flies all day. San jaun/caddis/mayfly was killing em all day long.
