There are ten tires left at the parking lot at the bridge I would have taken them but they are filled with water and I have a carpet kit . If no one picks them up I will remove my carpet and do it any one that wants to grab say five of them it would help me in the getting rid of part /////
I just got done talking with cal trans about them taking them off my hands , They want to check with their sups before commiting to that I will check back with them in a week or so no hurry right ?
Richard: thanks for taking the lead on removing the tires that some scumbag left. I do know that most landfills will charge up to 15.00 per tire to dispose if they are car and light truck, and up to 25.00 ea if they are large truck tires. I guess thats why these idiots dump the tires at places like Putah. There is a program called "tire amnesty" that may be county sponsered, and I believe you fill out a form take it to the land fill with the tires and its a free dump. Let me know if Cal Trans wont help. Greg
