Hit the creek Monday. Fish from 8:30am-12:30pm up and down Access #5 area. Nobody there but me, a couple of Blue Herons and some fish! Found a nice stretch of quite water and proceeded to get 4 to hook, none to hand. Used a pheasant tail nymph, a #20 black midge and 2 different realistic patterns. About 10:30 there was active surface action(BWO hatch??)...didn't have one dry fly on me! Oh well, live and learn. The creek flows were way down from the Summer months and I enjoyed "learning" about the difference...Looks like there was a successful creek clean-up...I did find evidence of some weekend baitcasters...Hopefully, Fish & Game will start patrolling the creek...Tight lines.
