Off color water and lots of hungry fish. Landed 6 today between 12 and 18 inches. Not a banner day but not bad either.

Picked most of em up between the bridge and 2. I would say don't go too far downstream right now. Hot flies were red san juans, brassies, and olive military mays.

Was wading up from guide hole and spooked a fish out of a riffle that literally ran into my leg as it tried to escape downstream. This fish was massive. Easy 30 inches/10ish lbs. Also had a couple break offs in the same area. There's big fish hanging around....

The red san juans were working today! The creek pretty much cleared up today. Cold creek was feeding in some brown silt yesterday.

Yeah i tried the upper bridge slot. Figured that there would be some fish sipping bugs washing down the creek. Noting up there.

But those san juans were rocking. Brought three with me, lost two to break offs and one to a rock. Lesson, always bring ****tons of flies, lol.

Was gonna fish with rich and sara but I didn't get my butt out of bed till like noon, so I missed heading up there with them. I ended up spanking them anyway. They ran into me at the end of the day at shon's hole and asked me how I did. My 6 fish to their big zeros....

Sometimes the student becomes the teacher :).
