Ouch, a lost rod

I had a good time on the Russian River yesterday until I unloaded today.  I left my rod in the Wohler Bridge Parking lot.  A Winston Ibis fly rod 10 1/2 feet weight 7.  Thanks for any help.

you should give the fly shop a call and ask about any  community board or blog , and call the cop shop up there and ask if anyone returned the rod  . In other words   work it.....  ask kings bate and tackle to put up a sign   . Just sayin  work it   I hope this help    , Let me know if you would like some help  doing any of the things I sugested    Good luck   Richard Out

That is great news!! That is smart to put your number in the rod tube. I always put my fly rod on the drivers side of the car when heading out to make sure it makes it home. Others put fly rods on the hood. Leaving your fly rod on the passenger side is a recipe for disaster. I once drove off and after about an hour remembered I didnt throw the old stick in. Luckily I found it. I actually ran over it. Thanks to Sage it is still around!
