Here's one in my front yard. Those cats are cool, and I think now is the time you see most of them. Used to see lots mountain biking in the winter over here in Annadel. Built for climbing. The terminator version of your house cat... That poison oak treatment is from the doctor SK60. Gotta attack that sh*&.

I saw a bobcat attack a big dog in Mexico about 10 years ago and after seeing that I think I'd rather tangle with a Mountain Lion. They are incredibly fast and ferocious. In about 15 seconds the bobcat had completely disemboweled the poor dog.
Better a long tailed cat took an interest in Rusty than you
I called in a bobcat up at Putah years ago with a home made quail call. I was hunting pigs and saw the bobcat a couple hundered yards above me. That cat snuck to within no more than 5 feet of me before he realized he had been scammed.
How I didn't end up with massive pison oak after my last trip up there (date of Redds class) amazes me. I took somebody's (Cole Davis?)advice about using Dawn dish soap, hot water and a scrubbing pad. I lost a few layers of skin but otherwise went oak free. Thank you

That's a beautiful bobcat in those pics. I always have my dog with me fishing. He probably is the best defense to have in the wild. He alerts me of things around me, like the bobcat I saw.
