PCT has been in recent discussions with the owners of Canyon Creek Reort who have expressed a strong interest in working with PCT to improve the wild trout fishery in the Creek as a service to our stakeholders as well as providing conservation education opportunities and fly fishing information and classes to their members/clients that wish to fish the creek. The resort is in the process of expanding and upgrading their facilities including a restaurant providing excellent meals at reasonable prices, more camping and cabins for overnight stays. They are hosting a fly fishing event with the support of Off The Hook Fly Fishing Feb 11 consisting of free wine tasting, drawings for FF gear, and instruction is how to use the tools of the sport.
