For those of you who don't know his flies you should google his name and check them out.  I was messing around on the internet and wanted to see if he had a dragonfly nymph pattern.  The first thing that popped up was news of his untimely passing, 48 years young at his home in Colorado.  I'm crushed, what a bummer.  I have more than a few of his "gilled nymph" series in my boxes.  Half his flies are better than all these new generation cartoon flies you see coming out these days.  Has to be one of the more undrerrated tiers not many folks heard of.  Hope you're out there stickin fish Shane.....
