Rod repairs.

I'd like to take a minute to rave about this guy that repaired my Thomas&Thomas rod recently. I tore a guide off and the others were wearing nice grooves into them so I decided it was time to get the rod rewrapped with new guides. Tough decision wether to send it in to have the factory do it or have it done locally. So this guy came highly recomened from several people so I went with it. Not only did the rod turn out as good as original but even BETTER ! He even suggested really nice thread colors. He can even repair broken graphite rods, Uses a small spring steel insert and it seems to work great, Has done 100's of em. So if you need a rod repaired shoot me a message or call Creative sports in pleasant hill.

Have you seen him in action?  I just started building some rods and I wonder how he removes the old epoxy from the blank without damaging the rod.  Goof off and a razor blade maybe?  Sounds like pretty tricky business to me.
