Mark your calendar for a fun event on March 26. We are going to hold a celebration of the start of spring by hosting a fly tying and fly casting event at the new Lake Solano Nature Center located at the Lake Solano Park. Regional professional and skilled amateur Fly Tyers will be tying their favorite Putah Creek patterns and donating them to PCT. There will be additional sets of flies donated from other Tyers from around the region for purchase (donations from forum members are also gladly accepted).
Casting lessons and contests will be led by a certified instructor with a number of prizes awarded in various categories including accuracy, distance, and most graceful form.
Raffles and silent auctions galore for all ages, so bring the family and a picnic lunch. Look over the hand built pram that James (blackcloud) is donating to our main fundraiser this summer and buy a ticket for the drawing.
Thanks to Alastair (Africanangler) and Jordan (Berryessie) for planning this event.
Many more details will follow.

That pram is beautiful. I keep logging on to the site so I can see it. It makes me want to go fish Lake Davis. I guess I'd better show up and tie some flies and buy some tickets.
