Fishing isnt about catching fish, its not about who caught the most, or who caught the biggest, its about the experience that you have on the water, and the life long bonds you make with others on the journey to becoming a better person inside.
A total guess, Middle Stanislaus- La Contenta for golf?????? I tried to blow it up but the picture went to mush. If you're playing golf 2 weeks ago you were below 5000 ft. elevation.

Bob, Wasn't it the middle fork feather where you scored all those golf balls ?
Yes, there were so many that I only took the Pro V's and Callaways! Remeber how many I has stashed away in my vest?!! I think I looked like John Candy. There must have been 500 golf balls washed downriver from the Plumas Pines golf course. Those places should be closed for the season in early November.
Alright, sorry the pic is so small but I couldn't do any better than that. That is Cache Creek. It's on the Yocha DeHe golf course at the Cache Creek Casino resort. It's a good looking stream (in the winter anyways). Too bad it doesn't have any trout or stealhead. Maybe smallmouth?
Ugh...I shoulda put in my guess. Cache is what I was gonna say but I couldnt tell if there was sage brush in the photo or not, that was stumping me a little. Fun game, thanks. I have fished it some. Its loaded with squaw fish unfortunately. It does have some bass, pan fish and even trout in the upper portion though.
