After several delays, me and Steve finally got a trip on Sat. I had this spot on my list of places to fish as I had driven by the turnoff a number of times but always put it off. The rain made for a good day of fishing drys. Didn't see any rock climbers.
Man that is some beautiful water. U guys got there just in time. another day and i bet that creek would have been muddy.

Very nice James. I wanted to fish the moke. up near ebbets pass this summer but just didn't get around to it. Funny, It seems like the season just started now its just about game over for the sierras.
Small fish, but looks like a mini-Yosemite with the granite slabs. Not an easy stretch-you are hopping boulders, not rocks. 100' upstream or down stream, then move on down the road. I noted a growth on the stream bed rocks that might be didymo, this fork is very close to the Bear River where Ken Davis recently found didymo.
P.S. I'm in the 6th picture.
