DFG Wild Trout eFish Survey

This week PCT assisted Roger Bloom's crew in surveying the creek for young of the year and safe harbor habitat for small fish. Several PCT members volunteered, including Dave M, Brian C, Bernie W, Jordan R, Greg B, Jacob B, Chris Y, Michael F, Richard L, and myself. A great time was had by all and targets met. Attached are a few photos of the action. If you can pin point the area in the first photo you really know the creek.

If you would like to join the fun, sign up with PCT.

The survey was pretty cool stuff,my son really enjoyed the time spent on the creek (and not in school!) he wants to go again, maybe we've created a jr biologist! I really expected to find more fish though. Big thanks to all the volunteers and to the DFG who worked thier butts off.

Could be the Bat Cave... Did you bring an ice chest?.... I think the bat cave is somewhere on the West Carson close to HWY 88

Or about 50 miles north of there.

If the poachers and redd fishers leave them alone. Report illegal activity to Cal-Tip, accessible from this site.

The survey was designed to find young of the year, which was accomplished.
