PCT is sponsoring a clean up crew for the interdam reach of the creek on Saturday Sept 25. This is an annual event that we have sponsored the last two years. Please sign up if you are available to help out. It is scheduled for 9 AM to Noon and we will have a BBQ following at Access 3. Waders and sturdy gloves are recommended; we will provide drinking water, if needed, during the morning, but try to bring your own bottle. Collection bags are provided.
This is a great opportunity to give back to the creek and, later, spend some time fishing.
To sign up, go to: www.putahcreekcouncil.org upcoming events, click on Putah creek clean up, click on please register link, click join us, click the far left balloon on the map, fill in the registration form. I will be able to access the info and will follow up with an informational email.
I am gonna try to be there if I can. The grape hatch is on so I will be showing up at the last minute if I do. let me know if you need me to bring anything else.

Thanks to the 11 of you who volunteered to clean the creek. We gathered about 50 lbs of trash and 100 lbs of recyclables. Surprisingly, perhaps, there were only two bait containers found; lots of spinners were seen hanging in the trees, so lets hope the new regs are being followed by most.
