My rant is this, Every angler survey box I have encountered this year on sierra waters have been empty ! I think 6 I have checked. Its obvious they have been empty for sometime as theres no pencils and theres just dust in them, And if they were just empty from being filled out you would be able to see them in the slot. Is tthe DFG still looking at this info ? Maybe its just another case of budget cuts ?

I know the box on the LT always has pencils and blank sheets and there are filled out ones visible through the slot. I always fill one out if they are available.

I've gone to the sierra's to fish 10 of the last 11 weekends and I have yet to come across one single survey box that has anything more then dust in it. Of course not every river/stream has a box.

I'm starting to thinks its pounding me. The aches and pains get worse each summer ! Guess I'm getting old. It's been good though.
