GOTCHA! biggrin

Well I thought with all this madness going on right now, i would lighten up the mood a little bit through a cheesy little contest.

So, this is how it works:

I post 6 pictures with a question corresponding to each one. First peron to get them all right get a Simms ball cap and maybe a few flies.

All but 3 and 4 are in california.

#3 is in southern oregon near the coast

6)that brownie is from the river that u caught it in and pulled it out to take a picture of. u can see the water right behind the fish. lol

Actually, it's not from Scotland. There are two forms of Brown Trout found in the states. The Loch-leven, which originates from Scotland and has no red spots, only brown. And the German brown which has red spots. Here is a little blurb from wikipedia...

"Regional variants include the so-called "Loch Leven" trout, distinguished by larger fins, a slimmer body, and heavy black spotting, but lacking red spots. The continental European strain features a lighter golden cast with some red spotting and fewer dark spots. It is important to remember that both strains can show considerable individual variation from this general description. Early stocking efforts in the United States used fish taken from Scotland and Germany."
