Looking for a Sage Reel

A few weeks ago I got my Sage 4550 Limited Edition green Fly reel stolen. Does anyone have a Sage reel for sale or know of anyone with a reel for sale I need to go fishing!Thanks-Jason

If you need to go fishing ASAP, get yourself a Pflueger Medalist 1494. The reel will set you back $30 to $40 (depending where you get it). Spool it with the line you want, then move the line to your permanent replacement reel whenever you buy that.

You can buy Medalists anywhere (box stores and specialty shops). Many people use them as backups. I know a person who uses a Medalist 1492 regularly on his Scott Fibertouch 3 weight.

I guess I am just going to sack up again and drop the money on a Sage 4550. Pissed I have to but such is life. Thanks

In my honest opinion Sage should just stick to making rods. Sure their reels are pretty nice but you can get a better reel for less money that what a Sage will cost you.
