My godfather always used to tell me about the big browns on the Owens and their taste for mice. Can't wait to catch my first fish on a mouse.

I read this article some months ago about this guy who was in this place called "Labrador" and they were fishing all day with mouse flies hammering 4-6lb brookies. Sounds like a blast to me.

while i was in monana, i wanted to throw some mice in the evenings. i did one and had one monster hit. but other than that, after a full day of fishing, i was too tired to go back down to the river

Haha, I was trying to explain that to someone at work and they just flat out didn't believe me. I also remembered what you said about the over-designed mouse patterns with ears, whiskers, a nose, etc. I tied a mouse with none of that stuff.

I've heard of the mouse boarding technique too. Sure would be something else to see in action.
