Its truly a wonderful thing that the greedy Yolo county decided that we need another campground on an already crowded 4 mile stretch of water! Currently I'm working with Walmart to try to establish a store some where between access#2 and 3. Our only hope is that the rattle snakes will chase off any crowds, and I'll make sure that I will herd the surplus snakes at our ranch in the direction of access #4 and #5!! Bono

this is xxxxx xxxx!  I've been working, away from the board too long!

July 10, edited by Ed Justus:

"Hi!  I made some harsh comments here previously. I spoke it over with a friend and must say they were a bit over the top. I still feel the same way I did when I posted those comments, but the last thing I want anyone to do is take offense to my communication skills or lack there of!

If I was fishing more and working less...ahh...I'd still be worked up."

I wish we could just protect it, and let it be!

Sincerely apologize for the X-bombs...but this is not cool!  (hmm...submit?...it's a jerry mcguire kinda thing!)

Where are all the hippy enviro types on this one? No planting to protect a frog, but more people on the water is a plus for frog habitat. I guess we need more deflated water toys wrapped up in the willows, so I'll make Lemonade?
What's PC Trouts view, anyone? Can we stop it?

IMG_2142.JPGStop it: probably not. This is a part of a long term set of improvements to the creek by Yolo County Parks/Rec between Access 4 and Access 1 from state money allocated at least 2 or three years ago. This part of the creek is being made more available for use by the general public.

The current sites are not attractive in my personal opinion, are dry, little or no shade, and people that were checking them out were not impressed. Its weekends only, no fires, no potable/available water, and for the summer only.
