A good Fathers day

I wasn't able to make up to the Truckee due to my anniversary on friday. I was looking forward to fishing the LT because my last trip up there in Nov with Brian an Eric I got skunked while they both hammered the fish. So for Fathers day, I honor my dad by going fishing. I started out  on some go to places that always produce, I saw fish got some looks , but no takers. I tried three different creeks and not one take. Finally I decided to try a creek I had never fished before, I had looked at it  several times but it was so small  I always past it up. This was quite a Fathers day surprise . The fish were spooky but if you could get adrift without them seeing you, you would get a look or a take and you only got one drift  and then they were gone.  Most of the fish were small but there were a few that made the day worthwhile.

Nice fish BC.  Those little streams are awesome and they remind me so much of the little streams in Idaho I used to chase fish in.  I hung around my house on father's day and played a magnetized fishing game with the rug rat instead.
