Im going to donate a few Feather river guided trips for some spring time fishing.100% of the funds will go to putah creek trout.I will guide up to 2 people per trip ...Your day will include fly's and leader set up, a very nice lunch, some good fishing and a little on stream knowledge. We will wade several section of the river. The Feather river gets a good run of spring steelhead that dont find their way to the net with out a good battle.I would say they are some of the hottest steelhead out side of the coastal rivers...Prime fishing will be from the first part of April till the middle of May... This is your chance to chase some spring steelies and learn a new nor cal water.. Iam offering this trip as a one time only deal to be your tour guide for the day.I would like to see a donation to PCT for no less than $75.00 per person. If you would like to donate more we will not turn you down... Send me a PM if your interested. MX19

I got my toes wet this week on the feather river.Flounder joined me for a tour of the upper section of the river...Weather played nice for most of the day.A few caddis bouncing around, but not enough to get steelhead to target only them...Fish seemed to be all over the menu....Water is nice and clear and flows are at a really good level to move around a lot... Had a nice time hanging out with Flounder.Very nice guy and great to fish with..He hooked up on a few feather river spring fish and found out just how strong they are.We had a shot a nice fresh young adult ,but we lost it after it rolled and dropped the hook only a few feet from the net... Thanks again for the donation to PCT. MX19
I've been meaning to post, but I got sidetracked over the past few days. Had a great time on the Feather. You really know that river and those fish are really strong. Even the little guy felt like I was hauling up a bowling ball. Also thanks for the instruction part of the guide. I learned alot and will be working on my roll cast.
I'll take you up on your offer to putz around on the Yuba in the next week or so.
