" Rivers of a Lost Coast " will be showing at Modesto's State Theatre Thursday, April 16. It's a documentary about salmon and steelhead fly fishers that pioneered fly fishing for salmon and steelhead on our North Coast rivers. It is narrated by Tom Skerritt.  Here is a link  to the website: http://www.riversofalostcoast.com/

Although "off-topic" I really appreciate this post!  I have stumbled accross 2 of my favorite movies in a similar fashion.  I first saw "Gettysburg" and "Step into Liquid" at afternoon matinee's, in small theatres, while playing hookie from work!

I'll do the same to see this one in Berkeley on the 21st &/or  the 22nd.

Thanks for the heads up.  Ed

There a few links from this website. A couple by Peter Moyle and this one by Jeff Miller. Miller is right on. Look at Alaska and then look at Alameda Creek. http://vimeo.com/2831954

Amazing Otter!  Killer post!  Thanks for sharing ... everybody should check out Jeff Miller's comments and then just enjoy the other videos. Are all of these vid's excerpted from the movie? Do you know?  I really enjoyed these.
