Went fishing yesterday with my nephew who is visiting. Caught one of the strangest looking trout. Thought I share.

As for the overall fishing, I only landed two hooked, a few more. Fishing came to a crashing halt when the flows increased.

What a beauty! Its nose almost looks like the sucker of a carp. But hey...a native trout is a native trout, right?

The head and the nose somewhat looked like a dolphin. It would be interesting to see if the nose carries through the gene pool and if we'll see some more square nose trout on putah biggrin

Fishing isnt about catching fish, its not about who caught the most, or who caught the biggest, its about the experience that you have on the water, and the life long bonds you make with others on the journey to becoming a better person inside.

That makes total sense Brian - the fish was really spawned out and weak for its size.  You learn something every day - thanks!!!
