I was curious if anyone has ever fished Cache Creek. I recall reading several years ago that there were some posts about trout fishing above Indian Valley Reservoir on Cache Creek????? I've never fished it myself. I also recall a Cal FLy Fisher article on it about 4 years ago, but there is no library on the article.
I know the lower sections fish well for smallies in the spring. unfortunately once it starts to warm up the place becomes infested with rattlesnakes. But that never stopped anyone.
Like CodyM said its known for some decent smallmouth, I have heard there are trout in some parts, I know its closed now and dosen't open till last saturday in april so I just assume there trout there ? Unless the regs. have changed in the last year or so.
